We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tony, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought behind my business was to show the world that a faith based clothing brand could have style and be unique in helping the community as well.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started my career in fashion as working red carpets as one of the best media streaming personalities. My biggest challenges is I wanted to give back to community but a lot assume because I am faith based brand people think things should be free or discounted. So the lessons I’ve learned along the way is that you to set your own tone and everything will follow.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I was taking someone out I’m a huge bowler or a great music lounge. There a place called Underpins it’s a bowling alley and they have a lounge upstairs. I love music and films.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout-out my grandparents especially my grandmother she believed in a lot of my dreams even when I didn’t. So when I design something I think about if she would love the design. I mean my grandparents were also very stylish and also I want to help my community in our designs at Flava.
