We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony HS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
To Stay Consistent. In my lane of work, I believe one of the lessons taught to me is to stay consistent. THS Productions is a Media Production company that creates a variety of content for many different people. My work has to stay consistent because media is consumed so rapidly and if someone were to slow down too much, I feel, they would miss high priority opportunities. I’ve witnessed it and it’s happened to me earlier in my career so I had to change my mind-set and outlook because I choose to be successful in my field-of-work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From my vantage point, I’d like to say that I take inspiration from everything I encounter. My creativity is ever growing and I believe that makes my work individualized. I’m most proud to know that I am confident in my work and I know my self-worth when it pertains to my craft. I’ve come to this place in my professional journey by staying consistent and by keeping my portfolio ever growing with various factions of tone and theme. I’ve had many challenges as many people do and I firmly believe its how you recover rather than giving into the negative. Every challenges is an opportunity to learn, so learn from it. I’d like the world to know that I’m available for hire and I’m passionate about creating art.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m very proud to say I have a myriad of friends and they all contribute to my growth and for that I’m extremally grateful to have a some many thoughtful and true friends. So to answer the questions we first get some great food and talk about everything for hours, the next day we would visit the fashion district, meet other creative, go to the club or hangout with new acquaintances and create more memories… then come to where we were staying as the sun is rising. We’ll sleep in late and do it all again and maybe visit a beautiful location. I promise that’s a great party format, Try it, LOL!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout is for One Unit Productions (1UP)! One Unit Productions is a group of four (4) amazingly talented individuals that have years of experience in their perspective fields. They have combined their expertise to provide upscale services to clients and to enrich the creative community in Birmingham AL. They provide many services and some consist of photography, videography, make-up artistry, styling, modeling/posing coach, costume design, set design, etc. This group is doing amazing work stimulating the creative community in Birmingham AL and I had to give them a SHOUTOUT! #OneUNITProductions
