We had the good fortune of connecting with Tonita Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tonita, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I feel that the habits of consistency and determination has helped me succeed.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am Tonita Gray owner of Eternal Tax And Notary Solutions. I am most proud of building my business from ground up during the pandemic. Being a single mom displaced from her job due to Covid-19, I knew that I had to create a better work/life balance for myself. I decided to take action and go to school to thoroughly learn the tax laws and become a tax professional. I did just that! I enrolled in MYATS where I studied days and long nights. I graduated as valedictorian! I went on to work as a Tax Professional at partnering tax office. After successfully completing my first year as a Tax Professional. I knew that this was a career for me. I then joined level up 2.0 a 90 day mentorship program that I completed to properly build Eternal Tax And Notary Solutions. It was not easy but it was worth it. It took drive, motivation, dedication, long nights, multiple tries ,patience ,prayer and perseverance. I overcame each challenge by continuing to focus on what I wanted to achieve. I’ve learned lots of lessons along the way some being that no matter what you have to show up for your self. You have to be willing to do the work in order to see your desired results. I also learned that no one will go as hard for you than yourself. You have to walk by faith and put your plan into action! Always believe in yourself! I want the world to know that I am a 27year old entrepreneur from Birmingham Al, who defeated the odds and believed in myself and my dreams. I want them to know that I invested in myself! Not only did I invest in myself financially but also mentally, emotionally and spirituality to align myself with success. I had to shift my paradigm. The mindset matters! I want them to know that this is only the beginning! I am allowing God to order my steps and walk by faith.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
