We had the good fortune of connecting with Toni Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Toni, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I grew up inngoss poverty in a little city that is located between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a child, I spent most of my life hoping, wishing and dreaming for a rescuer to take me far, far away from my realities. During the rest of my time, I was mad that life dint deal me a better hand. As a growner version of myself, I realize that there are no rescuers, life is what we make it abd we hold the keys to manifesting our own version of happier ever after.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My firm, the Moore Legal Firm is a Legal Boutique firm that offers customized products, services and programs to empower women to build their business, protect their intellectual property, and create a WealthiHER Ever After legacy.
As a first generation college student, lawyer and entrepreneur who grew up on welfare. I have made large steps towards success. But I didn’t have to pursue success alone. Between family members, strangers and the Milton Hershey School, someone was there to advocate for my success.
And because of my background, my firm often serves as an Accountability Partner that helps clients stay accountable to their business vision, mission and Generational Wealth Building goals. What I know for sure, a contract works for some, a training classes helpful to many. But when you walk alongside your client to ensure they follow the framework, they follow through with their goals.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you were coming to Philadelphia, you definitely must go to the historical Liberty Bell take a Trolley Tour to visit the monumental places and get food at the Reading Terminal. Afterwards, we would go to the Ben Franklin Parkway to visit museums. For dinner, I would suggest going to South Street, and then going to a jazz spot where you may run into notable jazz musicians.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I like to shout out all of my business coaches who made me realize that I was good enough to show up as the woman of my dreams. These coaches include Tiana Von Johnson, Trevor Otts, Allyin Byrd, Aprille Frank’s, Charon Monaye and Linda Cross. But for them, I would be a pretty amazing business lawyer who ignored my soul’s calling for more.
