Meet Tone Swing | Actor & Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tone Swing and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tone, what matters most to you?
Growth is paramount to me. I think too many of us get caught up in trying to be perfect. We should all focus on being better than we were yesterday.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an actor above all else so I genuinely enjoy the process of putting my gift on display. Stage, film, voice, it’s all fun to me. I’ve learned that mindset makes the most difference. I see everything as a stepping stone instead of an obstacle.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Buckhead, my whole life is in Buckhead. There are lots of great places to eat and I’m not very picky so it really depends on when we go. I’d find a good pancake spot in the morning, take a walk through the bustling city, likely grab some wings for lunch, I’d get my friend to check out my acting studio and probably treat them to a burger afterwards. Creatives are my favorite people, they’re generally some of the most, fun, open and accepting people anyone could meet. Almost all of my friends are creative in some way.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A fellow actor and all around creative, Lekell House deserves the spotlight. He’s an immensely talented and relentlessly dedicated writer, director and cinematographer on top of being a great actor as well. I have the privilege of being in his upcoming short film called Incantation. Incantation reimagines old folklore and I play the lead character Felix who tampers with magic. You’ve gotta watch the film to see how it all plays out. Lekell is a genius.
