We had the good fortune of connecting with Tisha Moses and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tisha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, it just kinda fell into my lap. I have always loved photography and art. I started staging pictures, blog style, six years ago not knowing that I could turn this into a business. I started doing research and looking into this industry and got an EIN number. Finally this year I got my LLC. The goal is to have enough clients so that I can get an office space/warehouse and work with amazing brands.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’d like to say that my passion and creativity sets me apart from others. I try to look at things differently but in a beautiful way. The things that get me excited every day, are when a learn how to master a technique in photoshop- I’m still learning- my favorite shots are the floating product ones! My business is nowhere I want it to be. I’m still struggling to get clients. I do, however, try to increase my value by learning more, practicing, and studying trends.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ok, so I love art! I would definitely take them to the belt line and we would do a min photoshoot in the Krog Tunnels. One day we would spend at Atlantic Station watching movies, doing some shopping, and stopping at Kilwins for some amazing chocolate. I would try to find some popup events for us to attend on the weekend. We would stop by Ponce City Market and spend maybe two days there exploring everything.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a lot of people thanks. First is my husband who gave me the confidence to actually go through with it; my first client Kim, who saw potential in me that I did not know I had; and my mother who has always been my biggest cheerleader and bought a lot of my props!
