Hi Tina, how does your business help the community?

Dear Mike ,publishing staff ,and staff at shoutoutatlanta.com, thank you so much for the opportunity! Here are my revised edits for my Shout out interview!
Best regards, Tina Toney!

Hi Tina, how does your business help the community?
I believe that both of my businesses impact the community positively my music career impacts everyone young and old no matter who you are, my music is for everyone. My main goal is to teach what I have learned about love and to learn more and new ways to love! Love is extremely important a lot of our social anxiety stress and problems within our community and family happen due to lack of understanding on how to love and care for another person especially people we don’t even know. I am pushing love, understanding, communication and trust We all struggle in this area I believe from one time to another some more than others I promise you that love is the answer open up your heart and try to understand what someone else is going through and take care in resolving the issue. Family can be people in your community or friends who you can trust they do not just have to be blood they are loved ones I believe I’m setting and instilling a vibe. Let love set the standard for the way that we should be treating each other and intern help us grow together and individually. As for my cleaning business which I have operated for 15 years helping all kinds of people elderly, sick, young, tired, grieving, dying, selfless and overwhelmed people  those who just need some assistance in carrying on their daily routine cleaning activities. Especially during times of a health crisis, we are in the front lines. you know we all have a lot of expectations standards etc. put on us and we have premeditated ideas of what we want to accomplish for ourselves in our future nobody is a one person army we cannot accomplish things all by ourselves in fact some of the best business advice that I got was to outsource everything as much as possible because there’s just not enough hours in the day and you need to understand that people are having difficulties in their lives and they come to me to for help.I give senior discounts and when I see someone’s in a situation I always give a discount to them as well. In return I have networked with one more person and made our community knit and my networking community stronger  one cleaning at a time. It’s about the people you meet in bringing the Community together through networking To create resource Avenues right in your own neighborhood through people that you have spoken to for one reason or another or, done business with. All of this circles around love and caring for others which intern impacts our community positively through simple understanding and compassion. It’s very important to realize that everybody in the community plays a role and can affect us all Positively everyone has a talent or a job to do we need to utilize this strategy. In music I am really hoping to change the narrative from hard-core, tough, rough, violent and, pornographic etc. media and influence in our community to love I want to change it and fix it we have to fix ourselves all of my songs are about love and healthy relationships with lessons learned. My music is a hip-hop R&B and rap music mashup with a positive narrative for each song I speak about what love entails, how to love, how to be patient and understanding that is so important how to listen if you listen to the music you will learn and that is what I wanted to impress upon the community positive life lessons I am doing a blog on my website and it’s called “Tell Em’ Why You Mad”!  We’re going to talk about all of the situations and problems in the community that we are having individually and as a whole. I want to try to help possibly give advice where I can. It’s a members only space for $5 you can join and we’ll  discuss things on the Internet amongst each other everyone  can contribute anonymously and in public forum we will all come together from different countries, states, cities etc. Love is what we are missing in the media, and our immediate  communities, our own personal lives; it’s lacking somewhere if we think about it and this causes us to feel negatively about certain situations so we need to strengthen ourselves and practice self-love and self care; taking care of yourself first you can’t take care of anyone else until you take care of yourself and then comes your community. We will be discussing how to have positive healthy relationships. Mental health is very important everyone should be getting a psychological exam check up once a year just like a physical exam mental health is serious people are suffering from mental illness and depression low self esteem everyday all of this is due to what I believe is a lack of love and care towards each other and can easily be solved by inputting the love!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m changing the narrative!  Im singing, rapping and dancing to the sounds of love! I write all of my own music, and I do all of the visual editing, artwork, musical arrangements all the way down to the marketing I’m  different because I not only promote The “L” word but I promote self sufficiency! My clothing brand is called Self Made! It’s all available on my website! I don’t promote anger or anything illegal, pornography, sex, drugs, violence, guns or anything like that it’s all about positive healthy relationships and how to build them uploving and caring for one another. I use hip-hop R&B and rap music and, I mash it up. I use that as my tool to speak to our community and the masses expressing the need for love and support as much as possible toward each other.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I lived in Lithonia and Stone Mountain for a time and this is what I remember and I definitely had a great time! I love to shop and eat and I love a good time at night with music and food again so I would definitely go walk along Peach Tree yo Peach Tree Center hopefully there will be some puppies for adoption that we can play with! Hit up The Crystal Mall so we can get some gear for dinner tonight stop at then at the Hard Rock Café for lunch and a little bit of music culture and history while we eat and have drinks if it’s a summer day you know we have to hit up the man made water park browns Mill family aquatic center or mountain park aquatic center for some sun bathing and water antics then after that go home rest up and get ready for a good time tonight at Republic lounge for delicious dinner and drinks dancing will ensue!
