We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy, how do you think about risk?
When I think about risk, I try to analyze every possible outcome and the consequences before making a decision (if time permits). Risks in life are necessary, if you are looking to make any real gain. What people don’t really mention is how risk and faith go hand in hand. To risk something you have to have faith that it will happen powered by self-awareness. I believe self-awareness is the key to everything and can play a part in minimizing risks. High self-awareness leads to heightened faith which will minimize the risks. Knowing which risks to pursue has helped accelerate the Heart 2 Heart Relationship Talk Show tremendously. Best advice I can give on risk is to always have a backup plan because things don’t always go as planned. Due to the risks I took, within three years, the Heart 2 Heart Relationship talk show went from performing shows in basements to doing virtual global shows which hosted celebrities from around the world. Good risks will give you confidence. Bad risks will give you lessons.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Heart 2 Heart Relationship Talk Show is a platform that was created to give people an opportunity to ask taboo questions anonymously on anything relating to relationships, without the guilt or embarrassment of the topic. Our celebrity guest panelist answers the questions submitted by the audience, followed by a chance for the audience to respond. Heart 2 Heart is unlike any show that’s out. There are many characteristics that set us apart from other shows, such as the show can be performed live or virtually (Pandemic proof). Before the pandemic, Heart 2 Heart performed approximately 200 live shows and since the pandemic, four virtual shows. When I’m listening to the radio or podcast sometimes I wish I could add my 2 cents on the topic. Heart 2 Heart gives viewers a chance to discuss questions without shame and get feedback with opportunities to interact with their favorite celebrity. At the Heart 2 Heart Relationship Talk Show we allow people to market and push their brands. Better yet, we encourage it! We want people to succeed and be seen. At the show we also provide resources as well as networking opportunities to mix and mingle with professionals in various industries around the world. What I’m most proud and excited about is watching people grow from the show. Growth comes in many forms, but the two I’ve noticed most is growth in someone’s career where they may have landed a new opportunity from being on the show and then people and their personal growth. I’ve had people get answers from their submitted questions and get various perceptions from people that made everything for them click. I’ve had singles show up and meet each other for the first time whom are now engaged. The exciting thing about the show is that no two shows are the same. If we were ever to do a show using the same questions with a different panel, it would still be a completely different show.

I got to where I am today only by God’s grace, my relentless competitive drive, persistence, my team, and a lot of good weed. God has intervened and saved my life on several occasions and I know it’s directly tied to my purpose. I’ve been a competitor all my life. In my younger days nothing satisfied my soul more than defending the crown or dethroning it.
These days I’m my own competition and I’ve found that in doing so I come up with some really dope shit. Lol where would I be without weed? Probably dead or in jail.

Lessons I’ve learned along the way is don’t let one bad situation or experience change you from how you do things. I once loaned someone some money for their business. When they bum ass ghosted me, it left me with a decision to both change and not trust or not change and continue to trust. I chose to continue to trust and because of it other doors opened that probably wouldn’t have, had I changed. I learned also at the end of the day you can’t depend on nobody. It is all up to you on rather you succeed or fail. Be your own cheerleader, market yourself, and execute with precision. Nobody will want it more for you than you do. Most importantly, don’t rely on family and friends. Get comfortable with getting to know strangers because they will be the ones to support you.

I want the world to know that the Heart 2 Heart Relationship Talk Show was created for the people. A judgement free platform for people to not only get answers on their questions but also utilize the resources which will help them in their everyday lives. The show is like a second family. There are many factors that play into healthy relationships. Health, finances, mental health and self-awareness to name a few. Understanding that everyone has their own path and every relationship is different, the Heart 2 Heart Relationship Talk Show welcomes any and everyone who may be off their path looking for direction, someone looking to socialize and meet new people, or just sit and listen in to various answers to taboo questions, Check out a show! We won’t disappoint.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m more of the spontaneous type. Find a globe, spin it, and go. Whatever we choose to do its going to be great!
