We had the good fortune of connecting with Timeesha Diggins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timeesha, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent we want the best for our children. With that in mind I choose to relocate my kids to a more family involved state. A place where they could enjoy being a kid and enjoy their surroundings.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s not easy trust me. I’ve relocated from Chicago where I had with a solid base clientele to Atlanta where I had to rebuild my clientele. I didn’t know anyone here. I had to start from the bottom passing out flyers, social media, lowering my prices and even that didn’t work. But I couldn’t give up I had my three children depending on me. I went and got a job working overnight, there I started networking and passing out cards and flyers to my coworkers. They gave me a chance!! Word of mouth and great customer service is everything in Atlanta. I knew I had something different to offer and wanted the world to see that. Hair is my passion it’s my form of creativity it’s what defines me. No one client is the same and that’s what I love about to doing hair. I specialize in kids hair and natural hair. I call myself the INsttyle Loc Doctor when it comes to starting, maintaining and styling locs. To me it’s not just about the style when doing hair it’s deeper than that. Healthy hair matters, growth matters, and learning how to maintain your hair matters.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My Bestfriend was just here.. we had a ball a visited a lot of attractions monuments restaurants and parks.. to name a few The Yard House in the Atlantic station, ponce city market it’s beautiful at night and food was delicious, we climbed Stone Mountain, had desert at Jojo shake shack, went bowling at pin duck, visited the trap museum had hooka and diner at club Escobar

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give all honor and glory to God for blessing me with the talent and passion. Both of my Mothers whom are my motivators my sunshine on my rainy days . My family, I have 6 sisters under me and from toddlers to now every style I wanted to try every color I wanted to try they NEVER told me No. They help perfect my craft. My 3 beautiful daughters who ALWAYS believed in me my driving force the ones who keep me going. And to my Bestfriend of 15 years we had a dream and turned into reality I am because We are!! To all my clientele Chicago to Atlanta “INsttyle” says Thank You!
