We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Whitehurst and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process began shifting when I noticed what I was doing as a “hobby” or simply it being my passion, was truly an answer for those who had needs that no one else seemed to resolve for them. Seeing the results of individuals continuing to come to me for different situations and valuing what I had to offer, I began to move what I did in private, publicly and the response led me to build my business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career as a life coach is extremely fulfilling. I have been coaching for 3 years now and this current year 2021 is where I truly saw the fruit begin to bloom. What sets me apart is my belief in serving FIRST, building our relationship, and providing a safe trusted place for all of my clients. I pray before every session with my clients, and they have access to me as I’m available. I love going for those who feel defeated and walking with them through a 6-week process to equip them to learn their identity which leads them to begin believing and then executing their goals. Seeing them elevate from defeat to victorious and how they begin to walk confidently and reach every goal they have, makes me super proud and excited. I am my client’s BIGGEST HYPE COACH LOL.

It took some self-work, training, business courses, conferences to get me where I am professionally. I believe that knowledge is the only thing no one can take from you and I am still investing in courses and programs to help me elevate as a professional to better lead my clients in their results.

The process isn’t easy but it builds every area of you that is necessary to be best at professionalism. Many want to skip this, and they can, however, it isn’t sustaining at all. I’ve learned that every challenge is just that, a challenge. Once I’ve overcome the feeling it brings out of me, I begin to see ways I can defeat the challenges. This has also shown me that challenges are necessary as it builds momentum, character, and strength.

Each day has for sure been a learning experience. I’ve learned that being intentional with getting to know each individual thoroughly is vital. Allow yourself to be teachable as it makes you a greater leader and professional. As a business owner and mother, don’t allow what’s most important to slip away from you. Time management, a planner, and a schedule are extremely important.

I would love for the world to know that Tiffany has committed to being the life Coach and Mindset Strategist that doesn’t just have clients but becomes family with them. My story of being a single mom, once with the mindset that did nothing but destroy everyone around me and myself, defeating depression with the help of trusted mentors, coaches, pastors, and family was the best I could have done. Living in the world of partying, sex, lies, drinking, and being redeemed by Jesus Christ, I’ve been able to see both sides. I wondered why so many times as the choices I’ve made, should have taken me out. I’m not worthy of what God is doing in my life today, but that is who he is to us, his children. Serving God and striving to make God head over every decision I make, has been the most rewarding!! Knowing that the results of my certifications, the 6 weekly programs that I offer, and my experience, and the training I’ve had, give value to my clients each session! To see others elevate past their unbeliefs and defeated mindsets, I learn “why” God saved me and gave me another chance. God uses our mess as a message to pull those out of similar situations and to him. He trusted me to do his will for his children and for that, God will forever get the glory from my story.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Me and my best friend would actually take a trip from my current home state lol. If we had to do a staycation Each day would consist of eating at different restaurants breakfast lunch and dinner lol of different cultures, spa days, mani and pedi, jazz concerts, and shopping’! If it’s warm we’re most definitely visiting the beach.!!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jesus Christ for saving me from the things I thought I would never come back from. Showing me Tiffany through his eyes and the plans he has for me. My children Jaida and Jordan for teaching me sooo much, praying for me, supporting me and sharing me with others. My family and MY TRIBE! Their support, critiques, love, encouragement, keeps me in position to realize what I have to offer is so needed.
