We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany & Tequilla Daniels and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany & Tequilla, what matters most to you?
Honesty and transparency. Our job is to learn our clients’ businesses and clearly articulate what we can do for them. There is a mutual benefit in shooting straight from the hip when it comes to discussing their pain points and our capabilities. We do not believe in selling our clients fluff or following “trends” that will not apply to their needs. We strive to give them solid advice and solutions. Their success is a direct reflection of ours.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart from others is that we focus on building business infrastructure, systems, policies, and operational procedures that allow microbusiness owners to prepare for growth and scale over time. We are proud of providing a service offering geared towards small, black business owners and being catalysts of their “aha” moments. We are excited when we can help them work through a pain point and see them thrive. In our business, we practice what we preach. We show up consistently, believe in our brand, and believe in our capabilities. There are always challenges and times where you question or doubt but we just continue to push through and have faith in our success. One of the most valuable lessons we have learned is to show up every day with the value and experience we bring to the table and just keep going. We want the world to know that we are here to support, build, and grow the black business community and do our part to help them thrive.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So for Tequilla, who is in Memphis, TN, she suggests a great bar with live music. Downtown Memphis Art District and Midtown Memphis are great hangout spots. It’s nice to check out creative work while grabbing a drink or going restaurant hopping. If you’re into outdoors, Shelby Farms is great for ziplining, yoga, bike riding and more. There is always a good food festival to attend in the city and the last stop would be Gibsons Donuts.

For me, I don’t venture into Atlanta often. I’ve enjoyed hanging out in Marietta Square, especially when there is live music during the summer. There are plenty of places to eat but one of my favorites is The Rotisserie Shop in Kennesaw, where you can get great fried chicken. Downtown Acworth is nice and visiting the beach at the lake is always fun. A visit to the Aquarium, The Coke Museum and the College Football Hall of Fame would definitely make the list. Then I’d wrap it up with a visit to The Frozen Cow in Kennesaw.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Tequilla and I are sisters-in-law and we definitely support each other in this business. We also have to shoutout our husbands, James and Joseph Daniels, for always supporting us and keeping us grounded, while managing their own businesses. We are definitely a tribe of entrepreneurs and it is a blessing to have them around to love and encourage us.
