We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a result of recognizing the need for a comprehensive and inclusive platform that caters to sexual health and wellness. I wanted to create a safe space where individuals, especially people of color, can freely explore their desires, seek guidance, and access resources without any shame or fear. My business aims to be the ultimate one-stop destination for all sexual health and wellness needs. Whether it’s information on sexual health, a wide range of sex toys and novelties, trusted sex therapy, energy work through Reiki, or intimacy coaching sessions, we have it all covered. Our goal is to provide a supportive and educational environment where everyone can feel comfortable and empowered to embrace their sexuality

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from others is my personal experience with sexual trauma and my dedication to healing. I have gone through various healing modalities and have gained valuable insights and tools that I can share with others. This allows me to not only empathize with my clients but also provide them with practical guidance and support on their own healing journey. If I am unable to directly assist someone, I have a network of trusted professionals “my healing tribe” who specialize in different areas and can provide the necessary help. My goal is to ensure that everyone I work with receives the support they need to heal and thrive.

Response:

What sets me apart from others is my extensive experience as a licensed clinical social worker, working with diverse populations. I am proud and excited to educate and advocate for sexual rights, expression, and the ability to explore one’s wants, needs, and desires. My personal experience with sexual trauma and my journey through various healing modalities also sets me apart.

Getting to where I am today in my business has not been easy. I have faced judgment and criticism for discussing sex and intimacy, especially on social media. Many people in this field are often censored and told it is inappropriate to discuss sex and intimacy. However, I have overcome these challenges by staying true to myself and surrounding myself with a supportive community.

The biggest lesson I have learned along the way is to be authentic and unapologetic about my work. It is important to surround yourself with people who truly support you and your mission.

I want the world to know that my brand and story are centered around creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their sexuality, improve their sexual experiences and indulge in pleasure. I am passionate about empowering others to embrace their desires, find healing and fulfillment in their intimate lives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would take them to T&T Daquari Spot for some pregame drinks, followed by a stop at “Bando Wings” on the west side for some delicious wings. We would then catch a live music show at either City Winery, Tabernacle, or try to find out where “Erica Dawson” is performing, as she is a talented local artist. To get some exercise, we would head over to Rock Steady ATL and hopefully catch DJ Popo01 spinning, as he is my favorite Atlanta DJ. The next morning, we would relax at SpaLand and then enjoy brunch at Marcus Bar and Grille.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my Shoutout to Amina Peterson with Atlanta Tantra Institute, as well as the incredible women of color in the sex and intimacy community who have inspired me throughout my journey. These trailblazers, including Goody Howard, Marla Stewart, Luna Matatas, Dr. Tanya Bass, Dr. Shemeka Thorpe, and E. Michelle, have unapologetically advocated for safe spaces, education, and sexual rights. Their work and advocacy have had a profound impact on me, and I am grateful for their dedication to creating a more inclusive and empowering environment for everyone to explore and experience pleasure.
