We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I last my job during the pandemic, I took it upon myself to find a way to bring people together. Cookies, to me, are nostalgic, classic, delicious and comforting. I decided that if I could find a way to bring people together through the nostalgia of a cookie, community could be formed both near and far in a safe and effective way. And that’s where we started!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We take great pride in our cookies and company through the partnership we have created with other local artisans, like our Habanero Sea Salt, Toffee and butter and eggs to the ultimate level of detail in the entire cookie making process. Cookies are made in small batches by hand, each scooped, baked and adorned, again, by hand. We believe that this attention to detail paired and quality ingredients with our genuine care in every part of the cookie enjoyment process, is what keeps our customers coming back.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would start in Pike Place market for brunch before heading over the Space Needle and Chihuly gardens. Following, we’d walk back down to the waterfront, grab lunch at Ivars, and if nice, take a ferry to Bainbridge for spectacular views of downtown Seattle. Once on Bainbridge, we would either walk into Winslow for some afternoon shopping and coffee or meander via taxi to Bloedel Gardens, weather permitting. After arriving back in Seattle, we would have dinner at Matt’s in the Market or head back to my neighborhood in Madison Park and enjoy dinner at How to Cook a Wolf!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First of all, on the personal side, I couldn’t have done this without my family believing in me, helping me, and being there for me at all hours and days of the week. My dad, for example, to this day is helping me stamp boxes, cut ribbon, load and unload cookies and gear for events and sitting with me late at night in our production kitchen. My mom, has helped me numerous time bagging cookies for an event or event attending the event and helping me sell. We have a great time together!

Secondly, on the business side, I am so grateful for the organization SCORE. Without their help, specifically that of my mentor Joe, I wouldn’t have had the understanding, tools and resources to first, vet, my concept, and secondly, scale and grow. I will for ever be most grateful!
