We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Dillard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
New Voice Books at first was just supposed to be a book publishing company for my books only but God. God gave me a voice through writing and he charged me to go back and help his Kingdom Scribes use their voices.
What should our readers know about your business?
New Voice Books was established by an ideal that I received from God. I didn’t know what I was doing initially because there was no blueprint. But I decided to trust God and follow his instructions to build. I’m proud to say that New Voice Books has been in business for a year now and we will be celebrating our 2nd year in business at the end of July. It wasn’t easy seeing myself as a business owner and editor and chief. I didn’t have the resource or capital to start but God made a way for everything to get done.
New Voice Books is a Christian book publishing company that will help God’s kingdom scribes share their stories of inspiration, encouragement, and healing with the world. We are your book publisher and we will help all kingdom scribes live a legacy of literature on earth.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would go to get street tacos from Fuel City and then get some cookies from Insomnia Cookies.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this shout-out to my husband. He sees who I am better than I do and he is always encouraging me to keep going. He tells me to be who God has called me to be because the change that is being done in me is helping him. He wants me to know the best version of me.
