We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffanie Bacon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffanie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind my business has always been to serve others with my gifts and talents. I love to serve others. It brings me so much joy. As I began over 10 years ago, serving in local government, my job of making sure my clients were happy with the services we provided meant the world to me. I knew then I wanted to serve others outside of the capacity I was already in. This of course led me to locate other avenues to serve my community and others who came across my path.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of Bloom Coaching & Consulting, my mission is to encourage, support, and empower women globally to Bloom. I work with single moms to develop their minds from lack to building wealth and recognizing their potential. What set me apart is I have over 20 years of experience being a single mom and over ten years assisting business owners with startups and regulations. I got here today by believing in what was given to me. We are all here for a purpose, so it’s necessary to first find out what it is and cultivate our craft.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My trip would include Piedmont Park in the heart of Atlanta, This is my favorite spot in Atlanta for fun, reflection, and relaxation. It would include a picnic, listening to jazz, and great conversation. Possibly take a bike ride around the park. We would then leave to go to a Mexican restaurant. I would say La Parilla’s. I am a nature girl so as long as we’re in that atmosphere, good vibes and conversations, and Mexican food. I’m good to go. I would also suggest going to Top Golf. I love miniature golf and playing pool.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have several people who have been an inspiration to me. However, one of them is Dr. Carolyn Driver, an amazing woman I had the opportunity to meet several years ago. She has poured and encouraged me over the years. She is one I will always admire.

Dr. Tavis Taylor has been my inspiration. I knew what I wanted to do but never heard of anyone that was doing it until I came across her business/ministry. She is a powerful and very influential woman. @drtavistaylortalks
