We had the good fortune of connecting with Tierra Polite and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tierra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my business was basically chasing a dream! I currently own my own beauty salon and in the process of opening a beauty school. I began fixing hair at an early age and also wanted to be a teacher. So I guess I can say my childhood dreams have collided. I was afraid like most business owners because it’s a chance we take. I prayed to God waited for the confirmation and made the move. I truly believe God wont give the vision without providing the resources. I also don’t think too long on business ideas because we sometimes think ourselves out of doing things.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets me apart from others is my integrity and consistency. If you can get people to trust you they will support you in anything you do. My dedication to help people has really opened many doors for me. I truly have people that depend on me to win and it just gives them hope to see someone just like them make it. I always tell people if God did it for me he shall do it for you. Success is never easy! It has its pros and cons but I never have up no matter what things looked like. My faith is what keeps me because I believe. I manifest everything I want in life and it has definitely happened. I wake up everyday and make at least one contribution toward my goals. Lessons I learned along the way are 1) starve your haters feed your supporters 2) you get out what you put in 3) your dreams aren’t for others to understand 4)everyday is another chance
I want the world to know that I have worked all my life to build my brand. My business is a divine assignment and I give 100% to my brand.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to first shoutout my creator GOD!!! Without him nothing is possible!! My kids, sister and niece are my biggest supporters. They think I can do anything and I really do appreciate them. I have a few family members and friends that have really supported me throughout the years and I’m grateful for them. Overall I just want to shoutout everybody that supports and believe in ME!!
