We had the good fortune of connecting with Tierika Moore-Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tierika, what inspires you?
I am heavily inspired by the 90s.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is the 90s. I’m an 90s influencer and I specialize in aesthetics. Any memory from the 90s I can bring it life. I am most proud of the series we have going right now. It’s a collaboration of 90s influencers who bring the 90s back to life. We’re currently in season two of Da90sWay and season 1 of Hoochie Mamas. These are Instagram series that we create, direct, style, and edit ourselves. I got to where I am today with the help of my good friend Diego. I started out using my phone to make videos and he saw the potential and drive and sold me one of his cameras. Once I got the camera he started teaching me how to edit. He passed me the baton and I been running ever since. The biggest lesson I have learned along the way is to keep going. Long as you believe in yourself then there is tribe out there for your vibe who will believe in you also. The thing I want the world to know about my brand and story is that it’s an authentic passion. I time travel and once you tune in and see it, I promise you will get hooked. The older generation love me and my brand. It’s a constant trip down memory lane for them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting and looking for a vibe then we will definitely hit a hookah spot and the skating rink. I would show them around the city (especially my creative spots…grab a few photos). I would definitely introduce them to my team. My view of the most fun, interesting people is going to always be where the creatives are.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out DiegoTheGreat for putting a camera in my hand and teaching me to edit. I would also like to shout out my team Da90sWay especially 90sFlyGuy. The team definitely supports and keep me motivated. FlyGuy is the piece that really holds us all together and the rebounds and assists he gives on the ideas are top notch.
