We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara Shuneir and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiara, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I used to prioritize work above all else, putting everything else—family, friends, rest—on the back burner. Over time, I’ve come to realize how unsustainable that mindset is and how much it cost me in terms of my overall well-being and happiness. Now, I deeply value the things that truly matter most: family, friends, and making time for rest.

Work-life balance has become a non-negotiable for me because it’s essential to my ability to function, not just professionally but personally. I’ve learned that when I take care of myself and do the things that make me happy, I’m more productive, creative, and present in all areas of my life. For me, balance isn’t just a luxury—it’s essential. It allows me to show up in spaces as my best self, both at work and in my personal life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Tiara Shuneir Unlimited is a multifaceted brand that reflects both my faith and my professional expertise. While my creative products—like inspirational mugs, journals, T-shirts, and hoodies—are a part of my brand, I’m equally passionate about my work as a project manager, virtual assistant, and vendor liaison. These roles allow me to provide structure, strategy, and support to businesses, helping them grow and operate more efficiently. I love finding solutions and ensuring that everything runs smoothly, whether it’s managing projects, coordinating with vendors, or providing administrative support.

Another part of my journey is Girl, Let’s Pray, a ministry that’s incredibly close to my heart. It started as an intimate space for women to connect, seek God, and grow spiritually, and it’s now expanding to reach women in different states. I also created the Girl, Let’s Pray journal, which is available on Amazon, as a tool for women to express their authentic feelings and deepen their faith.

The journey hasn’t been easy, balancing creative work, ministry, and business services, but it’s been worth it. I’ve faced challenges with time, resources, and self-doubt, but I’ve learned to overcome them through faith, perseverance, and leaning on my incredible support system.

What sets me apart is my heart for people , operating in integrity, and the ability to bring value in both spiritual and professional spaces. Where many are chasing dollars, I pride myself on integrity and partnering with clients that align with my values. I will turn down any amount of money if it doesn’t align. Tiara Shuneir Unlimited is more than a brand—it’s a ministry and a mission. Whether I’m creating products, managing business operations, or encouraging women through prayer and journaling, everything I do is rooted in purpose and the desire to inspire others to live with faith, intention, and excellence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the best of the city. We’d start with coffee at Chattahoochee Coffee Company by the river, followed by a relaxing stroll through Piedmont Park and lunch at Ponce City Market. For dinner, we’d enjoy seafood at Pappadeaux’s.

We’d spend another day shopping at Perimeter Mall, grabbing lunch at Seasons 52, and later exploring The Battery Atlanta a lively atmosphere.

I’d include time trying moonrise, spaceman or drawbar I love a rooftop experience and the rest of the stay would be REST and RELAXING!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my business mentor, Jazmine Rochelle, for her direction, leadership, and for pushing me toward greatness. Being offered a role as her personal assistant has been life-changing, propelling me forward in ways I never imagined.

I also want to thank Naomi Mitchell, who spoke life into this business when it was just something I was doing naturally for others. She saw my potential and reminded me of the importance of believing in my talents and how valuable my skills are.

I’m grateful for an amazing support system that challenges me and can ask “ make this make sense to me” it’s in those moments that it pushes me to go deeper in my thought process. The ones that breathe life into me, especially on days when I don’t feel like I’m not at 100%.

Lastly, to my parents—my mother, one of the hardest working women I know, and my late father, whose morals, values, and relentless drive shaped me into the woman I am today. Everything I am is because of him, and his legacy is unmatched.
