We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara Elyse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiara, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success / success of my brand is God! Having faith and standing on my faith! Keeping God first at all times!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Believing in myself and standing on my faith is what has gotten me this far and will get me to where I dream to be! It has not been easy at all I’ve been discouraged and faced many trials and tribulations both personally and business wise but given up isn’t an option! It’s takes a lot of determination and a little delusion lol! I’ve learned that most won’t see or understand the vision and that’s okay because God gave me the vision not them! I’ve learned to be okay with being misunderstood and with most having to see it to believe it! I want people to know that it’s okay to truly live for and walk with God and still show up in this world as your true authentic self!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I honestly feel as if there isn’t really too many places in the city to really hang out and show someone a good time outside of a nice restaurant lol ! This High Point I don’t really mind a good while in the wall type spot from time to time but most people don’t know how to act civilized so nothing never lasts too long here

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to take the time to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ! without Him I am nothing but I can do all things thru Christ whom strengthens me! The advantage I’ll always have over the rest is that God favors me!
