We had the good fortune of connecting with Tia Culver and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tia, how does your business help the community?
At its core, my work is about access and amplification. Through Tia Culver PR, I help creatives, entrepreneurs, and small businesses—especially those from underserved communities—gain visibility in spaces where they’ve historically been overlooked. By securing media coverage, building strong brand narratives, and teaching clients how to position themselves, I’m helping people turn their stories into opportunities that can change their lives.

Beyond client work, I’m deeply committed to education and empowerment. Through workshops, training programs, and hands-on mentorship, I equip individuals with the tools to advocate for themselves long after our work together ends. It’s not just about getting someone press—it’s about helping them build confidence, credibility, and sustainable growth. When my clients win, they create jobs, inspire others, and reinvest in their communities, which creates a ripple effect far beyond PR.

Ultimately, my mission is to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity—because everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.

What should our readers know about your business?
Tia Culver PR is a boutique public relations and brand strategy firm focused on helping creatives, entrepreneurs, and small businesses gain real visibility and credibility. What sets us apart is that we don’t just “promote”—we position. We take the time to develop authentic stories, align brands with the right media opportunities, and create strategies that actually move the needle long-term. I’ve built this company on relationships, results, and understanding both sides of the industry—what clients need and what media outlets are truly looking for.

What I’m most proud of is helping people who often feel overlooked step into spaces they once thought were out of reach. Seeing a client go from having no press to being featured on major platforms, or gaining opportunities that change their trajectory—that’s what drives me. I’m also excited about the educational side of the business, especially helping clients learn how to advocate for themselves through PR so they’re not dependent, but empowered.

My journey definitely wasn’t easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with more vision than resources. I had to build relationships from the ground up, learn through trial and error, and stay consistent even when results weren’t immediate. There were moments of doubt, slow seasons, and times where I had to pivot—but I stayed focused on my purpose and kept refining my approach. Over time, consistency turned into credibility.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that visibility without strategy doesn’t last. It’s not just about being seen—it’s about being seen the right way, by the right people, at the right time. I’ve also learned the importance of patience, resilience, and staying authentic in an industry that can sometimes prioritize trends over truth.

What I want the world to know is that my brand is rooted in impact. This isn’t just PR for me—it’s purpose-driven work. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, especially for those who may not have traditional access. My goal is to help people not only get seen but to be taken seriously, respected, and remembered.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, what would I show them?

Atlanta is a whole experience—especially when you mix the culture, the food, and the outdoors. I’d plan a week that really lets them feel the city.

Welcome to ATL (BeltLine Energy)
We’re starting with brunch at Thumbs Up Diner on Edgewood, then heading straight to the Atlanta BeltLine. We’ll walk, grab drinks along the way, stop at patios, and just people-watch—because the BeltLine is where the city comes alive. Dinner outdoors for that laid-back, nature-meets-social vibe.

Park Day + Midtown Views
We’re spending the day at Piedmont Park—blanket, music, maybe bikes or a walk with skyline views. If there’s a festival, we’re definitely tapping in because Atlanta always has something happening. Later, rooftop drinks at Park Tavern right on the park.

Nature Escape (Chill + Adventure)
Time to reset by the water at the Chattahoochee River. We can do a light hike or just vibe by the water. It’s one of the best ways to see the peaceful side of Atlanta that people don’t expect. Dinner that night somewhere cozy with outdoor seating, like Canoe—right on the river.

Artsy + Alternative ATL
We’re heading to Little Five Points—this is where Atlanta gets eclectic. Vintage shopping, street art, local boutiques, and personality everywhere. We’ll grab casual eats, maybe hit a local juice bar or taco spot, and just explore.

Foodie + Market Vibes
We’re doing Ponce City Market for food hall options, then back onto the BeltLine to keep the energy going. If there’s a food festival or pop-up market in the city that weekend, we’re there—Atlanta’s food scene is too diverse not to experience like that.

Day Party Meets Outdoors
Brunch at Fin & Feathers or Toast on Lenox, then we might slide back to a patio lounge for day vibes. Atlanta really shines during the day—music, patios, people, and that signature energy.

It’s the balance. You can go from a business meeting to a day party, from a hike to a high-end dinner, all in the same day. Atlanta is culture, community, creativity, and nature all wrapped into one. It’s a city where you can breathe, build, and be inspired—all at the same time.

When you come to Atlanta, you don’t just go out—you tap into the lifestyle.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the village that poured into me along the way. First, I have to give honor to God for direction, resilience, and the ability to keep going even when the path wasn’t clear. Beyond that, my journey has been shaped by the creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs who trusted me with their vision early on—before the wins were visible.

They allowed me to grow, sharpen my skills, and truly understand the power of storytelling in real time.
I also want to acknowledge the mentors, industry peers, and media professionals who opened doors, shared knowledge, and showed me how this business really works.

Platforms, producers, and journalists who said “yes” to my pitches helped build not just my credibility, but my confidence. And of course, my family and close supporters who believed in me, even during the building stages when things weren’t polished yet.

Most importantly, I give a huge shoutout to Atlanta’s culture. This city raised me, inspired me, and continues to fuel everything I do. Atlanta’s creative energy, hustle, and sense of community taught me that collaboration is currency—and that when one of us wins, we all move forward.

At the end of the day, my success is not just mine—it’s a reflection of every person who believed, supported, and trusted me along the way.
