Meet The Voice Of #TTB | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with The Voice Of #TTB and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi The Voice, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly speaking when I first started what has now grown into #TTB Entertainment – I didn’t have a thought process. I Just wanted a tumblr blog at the time I launched “Thirst Trap Boys” In 2016 & The rest is history.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Entertainment industry is very fickle! I’ve seen so many other “Blogs” come & go throughout the last 5 years. I personally feel that people are under the impression that covering topics like “Entertainment News” “RealityTv” “Sports” etc is easy. Which is their first mistake & ultimately it leads to their downfall.
I also feel that people tend to treat this like a hobby which is fine if that’s all it is intended to be – However if you want this hobby to turn into a brand you have to then treat it like one.
I overcame a lot of my beginning challenges by realizing quickly that I’m not building a blog. I’m building a brand! #TTB isn’t a blog! It’s an entertainment for adults brand that happens to own & run a blog that covers certain topics & once I realized that it’s been smooth sailing & has allowed the brand to grow into what it is today.
#TTB has a little bit of everything! We sell adult content, We sell merchandise, we have a podcast, we have a panel show, we have a game show, we have advertisement placements for our audience who might want to push a product of theirs, We have dabbled in short films & we are working on documentaries & Reality TV shows of our own & we cover what’s going on within the black LGBTQ community.
I want the world to know that your brand doesn’t have to be in a “Box” you don’t have to follow certain rules! In fact throw all the rules out of the window. #TTB thrives from not following the rules – we literally have a hashtag in our logo lol which we were told not to do but why not ? Because it’s never been done ? Well that’s the point !!! Who wants to blend in ? I don’t. Stand out & do things the way you want to & if you are resilient it will ultimately all come together…. You just gotta believe in what you are building.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ha!! Home lmaoo I’m such a homebody but if I had to tell them to go somewhere I would tell them to check out the historical places within the city. I love history & I believe those who don’t know it are bound to repeat it plus it’s one thing to read about history it’s another thing to be there physically at the historical location where certain events have taken place.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My audience deserves all the credit in the world for not only remaining loyal throughout the years but for following my online brand to each & every social media platform #TTB has appeared on. When Thirst Trap Boys left tumblr for twitter they followed & when we expanded to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc they followed. I wouldn’t be in the amazing position I am in right now without the support of the audience so I am forever grateful to all of them.
