We had the good fortune of connecting with The Review and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Well going into music like this, we knew it was pretty much an impossible feat, but it’s a dream that we’ve had for a long time that we came together and decided we are willing to work as hard as we can to reach it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We try our hardest to be as unique as possible thats for sure, but it feels a little daunting when there’s so many people trying to do the same thing and inevitably a song can sound just like one we’ve never heard before. How we got where we are now was definitely not easy haha, there was plenty of self doubt, second guessing and roadblocks but we are beyond determined and doing everything we can to make this a dream come true. From traveling to shows in different states without sleep or spending multiple days in our practice space trying to come up new songs, skits or whatever it may be that will get people notice is and hopefully enjoy it. One big lesson we’ve learned is that we have to be persistent, there’s not a moment where we can let up and it may sound a bit crazy haha, but that’s the level of determination we have, that’s how much we want keep pushing. I am proud of how far we have come considering I never could’ve imagined doing the things we get to do now and I’m ecstatic to see what the future has in store.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well my favorite place in Columbus would be the uptown area. I love how crowded the streets can get especially on a weekend when there’s any kind of big activity going on in the area. It’s cool to just see the city come alive and there’s some pretty good places to east which always catches my eye, and I can’t just pick one place haha. Other than that there’s a REALLY cool skate shop called the Cuckoos Nest and it’s where we started playing shows actually so we have a lot to thanks for them. We have a river walk which I always enjoying just walking along it forever while having conversations with my friends. We also have an art museum which is awesome, it has a lot of history of the area which is always fun to look at. There’s a lot more to it but I really like the place or maybe I just have rose colored glasses haha

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Let me start with the obvious haha, our family. They have supported us from the moment we said we wanted to do this, in any way possible and not just music but in life, we are thankful to have such amazing parents. Also our friends, we all want to see each other succeed in life and we try to support each other as much as possible. Last but not least, the musicians and artist we have met along the way, inspiring us and pushing us to be better and keep going.
