We had the good fortune of connecting with The Freaky Reiki and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born in Jackson Mississippi but raised in Georgia. Most of my family is from Mississippi or the south in general. Being born below the mason dixon line as a southern baptist woman there was a certain way you were expected to behave. Speaking about certain things such as sex and intimacy weren’t allowed. You just were not to show up with any babies. So it left a gap in my education when it came to how to interact with the opposite sex. It was either too much or to little. Which brought me to seek out education and to realize how disconnected we are when it comes to intimacy.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am trained sex/Intimacy doula, Birth doula and holistic fertility doula. My focus is to help individuals and couples create healthy intimate spaces to share with their loved ones. Also to help educate birthing families on their rights and maintain the current intimacy during and after baby.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Sunday I would start with a trip to piedmont park and go to the ponce city market and the city winery. Then Monday I would go to Cirque Daiquiri for all you can eat crab legs
Tuesday the flying biscuit Cafe and Zocolo for taco Tuesday near the rainbow crosswalk
Wednesday Fin and Feathers for wine down Wednesday and a night cap at Cafe intermezzo for the infamous chocolate martini
Thursday we would use resort pass to enjoy the spa luxuries and that evening rnb Thurs night at Boogalou
Friday Tiger Tiger
Saturday a hike at stone mountain park and movie at cinebistro or ipic

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
