We had the good fortune of connecting with Thackery Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thackery, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Not to be afraid of stepping out of a comfort zone. It taught me to understand that even in novelty and learning……there can be flashes of brilliance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
the art that I love to shoot is predominately esoteric and/or natural scenes. I am a Christian and so i find great beauty in the handiwork of nature and that is what inspires me. I love math and actively seek patterns and math in nature. it is a journey to fight imposter syndrome. with so many great photogrtaphers out in the world its easy to feel like you are copying someones work….however….one must stay true to your own flair. everytime I pick up the camera….there is a fingerprint in the photo that is Thackery.

what i want the world to know about my brand is that my photography is a reflection of my faith and the way that I see the world. to know my photgraphy well…..is to know who I am as a person.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Beverly Schembri (sister) gave me my first camera and from there it was a total love affair being behind the lens.

Also Sean Tucker motivated me through his YouTube channel to continue to stay true to the real passion that helped me continue with photography in this world so determined to compare everyone to everyone else.
