We had the good fortune of connecting with Terraca Bobo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Terraca, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Moving to Atlanta with my kids. They both have active dads, but I knew if I didn’t move I wouldn’t have been able to flourish into the parent that I am today. The risk of my business remaining stagnant was a factor as well. Relocating was a sacrifice I had to make as parent that wants the best for herself and children. A bigger picture that nobody else could see but me.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So I’m the CEO of WeightDRIP which is a women’s Waist Slimming Company. I specialize in creating Slimming Creams and Tea’s for women like me who suffers/suffered from stubborn baby weight. I also have the best Slimming Belts on the market! What makes me different is that I make my cream and tea from scratch at home! I took the time to research and include all natural and plant based ingredients to bring the best detox process forward, specifically for the woman’s body. We also have a maternity line. We carry a maternity belt, mommy butter, and a postpartum tea all designed to make pregnancy and postpartum easier on mom. My favorite product from the mommy line is the postpartum tea because it’s tightens everything back up and helps the mom to produce more milk for the baby. It’s peachy mint flavor and really helps mom to “SNAP “BACK” the waist and midsection. I’m extremely grateful to be here, but no it wasn’t easy. Worth it yes, easy no! Lol..I have a few ppl in my corner now but the journey was pretty lonely. Being strong enough to keep pressing forward when nobody believe in the vision the way that you do is tough. Adversity isn’t always cute! However it builds character! My brand is authentic and represents me and all of my challenges that I’ve overcome as a mom, a woman healing endometriosis, and anxiety. I’ve pushed through it all and I make sure I let any woman that I encounter know that she can too! I’ve built a platform to inspire women! Through my classes and products I’ve healed many and that’s why I do what I do! The testimonials keep me going! I live for it! It fuels my soul! Women are so dear to my heart, we go through so much silently. We’re the least protected. I’m here for us and I want the world to know it! I got you! I got US!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m new to Atlanta so I’ll do my best! Lol ! Mamas Cantina! The 24hrs Mexican cantina spot downtown! The tacos are to livvvvvvveeeeeee for! Sooo good! I love the vibe at Tiki Tango! Soooo free! I would also have to go to Traffik on a Sunday for the day party! I’m straight and that is a gay club BUT, when I say I have the time of my life there! A friend took me there and I was oblivious to the type of crowd it would be but I’m a free spirit and just live for good vibes, and it’s always a vibe there! The drinks are bomb too! I’m a huge breakfast person so breakfast at Barney’s and the Atlanta breakfast club stole my heart! It’s the açaí bowl at Barney’s for me lol! So good! They don’t owe me a thing honey! Last but not least the trail at tankard creek park is bomb. I go there when I need a peace of mind. It brings me instant peace.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Tha Real B.Judy. I look up to her sooooo much! When her products first made it in target I cried like a baby! I was soooo geeked for her and she made my own dreams feel that much more real. I have fitness products that I want to see in target, I have a distribution warehouse that I’m working on receiving, I’m manifesting being a millionaire right here in Atlanta and she’s already doing those things. Her book inspired me so much! I’d provably cry if I met her, I love her! Also B.Simone. I watched her literally manifest her whole life. I cried when she made her first 100k like I was there. These ladies mean so much to me and my spiritual journey and I’ve never met them, but I feel them.
