We had the good fortune of connecting with Teerra Monae and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Teerra, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
Deciding to truly leave some love ones behind. Whether family or friends I had to focus on God and my peace, best decision one can make.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started a cleaning business in 2020 and it was never a dream of mine. A dream of mine was to always be successful always be a business owner. What sets me aside is my Faith, I had to allow God to use me. I had to trust his judgment, my mind told me everyday to start several businesses all at once, God told me to start a cleaning business and allow it to open more doors of opportunity. And it worked out in my favor. Next came books and magazine articles and etc. Some lessons I’ve learned was if you never try you’ll never fail. And a lot of people don’t want to take the chance on failing, I rather take a chance on trying until I no longer fail, what I want the world to know about me is I’m just a young lady who dreams were worth putting to work.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My best places in time will most likely be a stadium I love relaxing and watching the games, I love nice lounges with different culture music, and I’m known for a road-trip
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this Shout Out to my Mother. I want to give her these beautiful flowers while she’s still here. She taught me to be strong taught me to be brave and to never quit, never worry about what anyone else had to say, My Mother taught me strength and courage and taking chances. Thanks Mama
