We had the good fortune of connecting with Teddy, Jaé, & Trinity Madison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teddy, Jaé, & Trinity, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
One piece of advice that we do not agree with is, “If you build it, they’ll come.” We feel that if you building it, they’ll come, but you have to Do The Work. Some things that come easy for some may not come easy for you and it requires just a little bit more.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We have the largest natural light photography studio(Exodus Photography/LoftĒ) south of Atlanta and have been able to sustain during this pandemic. We’re truly grateful for the many people we’ve had the opportunity to work with. We consider our work to be Fina Art Photography that you’d want to have displayed on walls in your home or office, in the midst of a digital world. We specialize in family, maternity, women celebrating life after 40(Black Diamond Experience), and business portraits. Aside from those, we also have a community effort called, “Untouchable Society”, where we celebate young black men ages 5-19 through portraits. We’ve overcome challenges through prayer, focus and simply doing what we have to do to get where we need to be. The one thing that we want everyone to know is, whatever obstacles you face in life, in business, or whatever goals you have, Don’t Give Up!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since we’re located in a city where music lives, We’d definitely take them to the historic sites of Otis Redding, Little Richard and The Tubman Museum. One of the areas in the city that is being revitalized is Historic Greenwood Bottom. It’s where our studio is located and where many black businesses before us were started and located in Downtown Macon, GA The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Want to thank our family, friends and the commuity for trusting us with capturing memories through portraits.
