If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I don’t eat to live I live to eat and luckily for me I live in a great food town with lots of awesome eating options! If someone is hanging with me they are GUARANTEED to eat good! If I named all my spots I’d be typing this answer all day so I’m just going to give my top 5 go to places for dinner with me during a 5 day work week!
Steak House- Kevin Rathbun Steak great staff and unbelievable steak and seafood!
Sushi- Eight Sushi the mixologist at the bar are the absolute best in town. Every cocktail is super tasty and there isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t good like literally my wife and I tried to find something on there menu we didn’t like and there was NOTHING we didn’t like. Everything is good.
The Optimist- Best Old Fashion in town is the Opti Old Fashion they mix Rye and Bourbon to perfection. This is a seafood joint and I lead with one of my favorite cocktails in town. Yes the seafood is great however my absolute favorite dish there is the Good Breed Chicken.
Busy Bee Cafe- Everyday Jesus bird we all know is Chic-Fil-A but the exquisite, yo mama’s, yo grandmama’s, chicken after church… Yeah cant let you come here and not get it. I really don’t think I need to say anything else about this.
Food Halls- Pounce City Market, The Works, Colony Square, Krog Street. Yes food halls are the new thing and yes atlanta does them well. All of our food halls while they feature virtually the same options they all have they own flavor! I have to tell you if you looking for that drink thats like a winning lottery ticket its the Pain Killer at the Works
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
