Meet Taunita Hightower | Wealth and Success Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taunita Hightower and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taunita, what do you attribute your success to?
Having resilience, or “bounce back” from difficult experiences is the most important value that I live by. I am no stranger to pain and disappointment. In my life, I have overcome everyday challenges to life altering events such as life-threatening illness, the tragic murder of my father, a shattered marriage, to homelessness. These adverse events were certainly painful and difficult, and still bring about a unique flood of thoughts, strong emotions and uncertainty.
Becoming more resilient not only helped me to get through difficult circumstances, but it also empowered me to grow and even improve my life along the way. I recognize that I am not defined by my circumstances nor do they determine the outcome of my life.
I talk about it in my new book, Power: Understanding Power, Passion, and Purpose (Available now for pre-order on my website)
My personal life lessons serve as the blueprint as I teach others how to bounce back from their challenging situations. My calling is to help others to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something bad or traumatic happens.
That’s the role of resilience.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of The Wealth Professor, LLC, a training and development firm that educates others on how to obtain wealth and success in their business, family, and finances.
Reaching this point of my life and in my business has not been easy. The road has been filled with twists and turns. Yet, each challenge has taught me how to be resilient. I have learned what true success and wealth looks like.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love spending time with nature. The Roswell Mill and Atlanta Botanical Gardens are my favorite spots to go.
I love the opportunity to learn new things. When I go in to the city of Atlanta, I love going to the Georgia Aquarium, the Coca Cola museum, and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is dedicated to my two lovely daughters, Lakina and Lonneka Charles. They are my inspiration and motivation and source of true resilience.
