We had the good fortune of connecting with Tatiana Garner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tatiana, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
Deciding if I was going to have to shut down during the beginning of Covid.

When covid hit alot of small businesses took a major hit because we had to shut our doors. I was determined to keep my dream alive and my business running and I did just that.

I had to get creative

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Garner’s Custom Designs is a small business that started with and idea that quickly became a reality. We do anything from Custom shirts for any occasion, tumblers, decals and much more. What makes us different is we help and work with our customers we can all win if we work together. We got to where we are today by keeping the faith and never giving up on the dream and the goal. We created a brand called Rise & Grind Hustle Don’t Sleep and it means something different for everyone. Being and entrepreneur is definitely not for the weak late night early mornings.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well first we have to go by my shop and give them the tour. Then we can go to the winery relax and vibe maybe catch a live show. Top golf. Cheddars for restaurant

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family who has supported me through everything talked me out of closing because covid. My customers who keep me motivated. My kids are my biggest inspiration and the reason I grind so hard
