We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasha Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tasha, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Results are a direct reflection of every decision made. Before that decision is made, one has to determine what the risks involved will be. In both my personal life and career, I find myself taking risks all the time. Whether it be how to handle negotiations of a sales contract, or allowing my children to add another sport to their extra curricular activity schedules. We have all heard the saying, where there is no risk, there is no reward. Now, I am not advising anyone to just take uncalculated risks, but I AM telling everyone to let go of fear, figure it out, and then just simply do it. Even if you fail, you will know how to do things right the next time.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of Real Estate Brokers of Georgia, a brokerage firm. The journey to get here started about 17 years ago. As I worked my way through different facets of real estate, it led me to becoming what I am today. A leader striving to make my business better everyday and to bring excellent service to all of my clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh we would really enjoy the city. From the food to entertainment, to culture……Atlanta truly has it all. First off, I love to eat good food. Home Grown has the best breakfast hands down. Mary Mac’s Tea Room for some good southern comfort food. A nice evening at the Atlanta Jazz Festival is always a good vibe. Sight seeing is a must. To truly sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights, a trolley ride through downtown can be the best way to do it. There is really a lot to enjoy about Atlanta. I am not even sure if a week is enough time! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God, my family, and my clients are what keeps me motivated. I’ve said this before and I will say it again. I truly love helping others achieve more and it just so happens to be in real estate!
