We had the good fortune of connecting with Taranda Reneé and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taranda, how does your business help the community?
InnerG Vibrations was Divinely & purposefully created to be impactful. It is my vision to help individuals, families, and communities around the world resonate with their Inner God/Goddess, Inner Growth, Inner Good, Inner Guidance, Inner Gratitude, Inner Grace, and even Inner Gangsta through sound therapy, meditation & energetic healing. As we prioritize our spiritual/mental health & awareness, we will individually heal traumas, heal our lineage by breaking generational curses, & create new thoughts, habits and patterns that better serve us and those around us. By consciously and collectively raising our frequency, we will not only connect with the highest versions of ourselves but we will also raise the vibration of the planet we live on in totality. We will be able to reflect and attract the love, light & positive energy that we put out and truly make the world a better place through alignment and entrainment.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I was first called to pursue sound healing as an offering, I was very hesitant & apprehensive about answering the call. Although I knew the many benefits and impact it had on my own healing, I didn’t know of any other sound healers in my area and most people in my hometown had never even heard of a sound bath before so I wasn’t sure how it would be received. I was still working a full time job, which I loathed because it was very stressful & draining but it did offer me the financial security & stability that I needed at the time. I knew that it would be a major investment of time & money without any blueprint or guarantee of success. However there were so many signs and synchronicities all around me that I had an innate knowing that I was being intentionally guided. So I listened and I trusted that the same Source which led me towards this path would continue to guide & provide for me along this new journey. I invested in my sacred instruments, achieved my sound therapy certification and meditation diploma both with distinction, & put myself out there. I made a list of things I want to accomplish and places I want to offer my services at. I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to check off several of them over the course of the last year & a half, including operating out of a black owned yoga studio, providing sound baths in our local salt cave, & serving as a sound guide for a healing retreat. I’ve also been able to fire that stressful job & fully commit to entrepreneurship. Praise God! Through faith & obedience, I’ve connected with some of the brightest lights in this realm from all backgrounds and walks of life. Ive served alongside fellow sound healers, InnerG healers, potent medicine men & women, and light & shadow workers. I’ve been in ceremonies with High Priestesses, babalawos, oracles, & shamans. Ive been able to serve my community with complimentary pop-up sound baths in the local parks & introducing the youth to sound healing & meditation in various schools/after school programs. And I’m also in partnership with a Wellness Initiative, which provides mental health & wellness services to the city of Augusta employees monthly. I can honestly say that I’m so proud of myself for being courageous enough to step out on faith & for co-creating the life that I desire to live. I’ve accomplished so much in less than 2 years and I know the best is yet to come. I couldn’t be more grateful for this much needed healing work that I get to do. It’s truly a pleasure and a privilege. I’m proclaiming and affirming continued collaboration, expansion, and success in the future. And I’m very excited to witness the many ways in which InnerG Vibrations (and myself) will continue to grow & glow!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Augusta, GA for a week long visit, on Sunday we’d get cute & go to Edgar’s Grille for bomb brunch & bottomless mimosas! I love to eat & drink good!

The next day, we’d go to Top Golf. Mini golfing is free on Mondays & who doesn’t like a little friendly competition?!

On Tuesday, we’d go to Sol Himalayan Salt Cave & Spa for rest, relaxation, and to take full advantage of all of the respiratory & skin benefits from the salt cave’s halotherapy. As well as the other services rendered such as yoga, massage therapy, foot detoxification, & a full spectrum sauna!

For lunch on Wednesday, we’d have to go eat at one of my favorite local restaurants, The SolFood Kitchen. The food is consciously cultivated & created with so much love! On Wednesday night, we’d go to Oak Restaurant & Lounge for a grown & sexy vibe including karaoke, which is ALWAYS entertaining!

On Thursday, we’d be OUTSIDE! (Literally lol) I love communing with Mother Nature in the great outdoors so we’d either go biking down the trail at Savannah Rapids/Augusta Canal or walking down at the Augusta Riverwalk. There’s a lot of beauty & history to take in at both locations. Afterwards, we’d go to another fav place of mine, Humanitree House. It’s a black owned vegetarian spot. It’s super artsy, has a dope vibe, bomb smoothies, & food…And did I mention, it’s BLACK OWNED?!?

I’m a big kid so on Friday afternoon we’d go to the Level Up Game Center. It’s very low key, off in the cut but super lit! It has all of the old school arcade games, retro video games, a pool table, air hockey, foosball, etc….Tons of fun & will definitely (re)connect you with your inner child! On Friday night, we’d tap back into the adult versions of ourselves by having dinner & cocktails at the Crown Plaza Rooftop Bar. Everyone loves to eat & drink with a nice view of the city’s skyline!

Last but certainly not least, we’d take a trip to the Barnyard Flea Market on Saturday. It’s the perfect weekend adventure. There’s always so any gems & hidden treasure finds, lots of organic produce for purchasing & earnest locals to connect with.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Spirit also known as God, Source, the Divine, the Universe, & the Creator. Without which, I would fail to exist, let alone have all of the amazing ideas, opportunities, & experiences that we’ve been able to co-create thus far. It is because of Spirit that I was Chosen to be a light, to be a healer, and to be called to serve & help others find their light within to heal themselves. So I give thanks for my own healing, my obedience, my intuition, my discernment, my creativity, as well as my gifts & talents that are making room for me as we speak, including this very article. Alongside which I must express my gratitude and shoutout my spirit guides, my Ascended Masters, my enlightened/honorable/benevolent Ancestors and all those who guide, support, & protect me from the spirit realm. They’re always conspiring to ensure that things work out in my favor & for my highest good! Asé! And of course I have to shout out my amazing husband, Bryce Wilson Sr. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader! You believe in me even when I’m experiencing self doubt and I’m beyond grateful to have your genuine love & support. I love you in all ways, always! Next I want to shout out my 3 beautiful children; Tre’von, Nala, & Bryce Jr. It is because of you guys that I strive to set a good example and ensure that you guys have the best future ahead of you. Mommy loves you infinitely! I also have to shout out my family & close friends who have served as a wonderful support system in a multitude of ways. Thank you all, truly! Finally, I’d like to shoutout everyone who has ever supported me in any way, personally and professionally. Whether it was a mention, like, share, word of encouragement, booking of a service, a referral, or sound advice (pun intended lol) I sincerely appreciate it! Gratitude! Gratitude! Gratitude!
