We had the good fortune of connecting with Tany B and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tany, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I started a journal business to help educate woman who were looking to undergo plastic surgery. My thought process behind this was to ensure woman are educated. We see “the perfect body” online but don’t understand the risk or just go with the flow. With marketing in mind I knew I could make a difference and help other woman. The journal I created is titled “Secure The Bod”. Secure the Bod is a plastic surgery journal to help people prepare for a successful surgery.

Because the decision to undergo plastic surgery or any other type of cosmetic procedure is not usually one that is taken lightly.

With plastic surgery becoming increasingly accessible in this day and age, more and more people are weighing the pros and cons of undergoing plastic surgery procedures.

Those who choose to move forward with cosmetic procedures are often able to focus on the many positive outcomes of plastic surgery. I want to help people prepare along their journey, so they can secure the bod!

This journal is intended to help people on their journey of plastic surgery. Regardless of the procedure, they will have access to document your journey, the goal is to increase self confidence and educate.

Secure The Bod is available to purchase on Etsy I also created a safe place for woman and others to ask questions and communicate with Doctors, Nurses, other woman and professionals via Facebook “ATLANTA PLASTIC SURGERY”.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was recently promoted to Lead Marketing manager for an Entertainment/TV company. I learned to be patient along the way and to set deadlines, if you don’t have a deadline its hard to set a goal and surpass the goal. I would never say I had anything handed to me I always worked hard for everything I have.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Atlanta, so there is always fun here and my go to would always be to try food/ visit restaurants and take plenty of photos. I love to go on YouTube and look for fun places to visit around Atlanta

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would shout out my parents, they have always been there for me along with everyone who helps me with my career
