We had the good fortune of connecting with Tangy Shaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tangy, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Born and raised in Wichita Falls Texas. I was a pretty active and hyper kid! Known to be in drill team, choir, cheerleading and shotput & discus. I was raised to treat others at all times with respect and understand you have one life to live so truly “LIVE IT UP”!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been a “creator” since I was a child… I started painting, sewing, singing as this is my form of relaxation! Professionally when I started my YouTube podcast (Tangy4Real) I was nervous but I knew that if I just tried at least one person would see my content. One thing that has been hard is consistency I’ll admit but I’ve been pretty successful. One thing I’ve overcame when creating content is at least post once a week verses a month.

I’m called TangySpicey in the industry. I’ve modeled for the last two and a half years. I’ve increased my content on TikTok (Tangyspicey81).

I act as well and some consider me a comedian. That same energy I had as a child is still in my veins ready for the next venture. What do I want the world to know? There can never be another you so LIVE BIG and GRAND the only way to fail is to stop. So keep pushing!!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Must check out humidor cigar bar in snellville and Ubar!!! The food is banging and the environment is always lit.

A few places I’d take my friends would be the Atlanta’s waterfalls, free paint and sip in the park, Mainevent for pool, bowling and drinks. To end the night I’d end up at Kats Kafe for some classic r&b, poetry or end up at this Caribbean spot called vibes

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Special shout-out to my mom (Mary Shaw) the older we get the closer we become! She’s a hard working rockstar! Shoutout to my sister (Ketra Robinson) for always having my back just like I do hers!
