We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamarick Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamarick, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Honestly I’ve always been pretty creative. At a young age i was told i had a vivid imagination so it was only right that i pursued a creative career. Role play has always been something i loved, i always come up with ideas that people don’t think of or ways to do things that a regular person wouldn’t even think about. I always would repeat actors lines after they said them in movies, or i would create different lines of the same characters. When me and acting finally met i felt like i actually found something i wanted to give my all too.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One of the things im most proud of is probably the mini series that Jalen Griffin (Director), Jordan Burks (Writer) & I created called “Choices”. I play the lead actor “Rick” who’s life has just been turned upside down. I wont spoil anything but i’ll tell you that its really good! I highly recommend it! You guys can find it on the “OTM Visuals” YouTube channel. Episodes 1-3 are there. Im excited about season 2 that’s coming. We had no clue that it would be received so well by our fans and they demanded season 2 so were giving it to them. It’s going to be action packed with more twists and excitement! I can’t wait!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would probably take them to Ice Cream Time, L. Georges, Dam’s Bakery, & Howards Hoagie’s, These are some of my favorite Ypsilanti food places to eat at. As far as hang out spots there’s Cantinas, everyone goes to Necto, which are both night clubs. There’s plenty of Hookah lounges in the area too! My friends like to stay in and play video games Lol!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to all of my fans, i really couldn’t do this without yall! But if were naming people i want to make a big shout out to my wife, not a day goes by that she doesn’t support me, shout out to my daughter who keeps me motivated everyday, shout out to my mother who’s always been in my corner & a big shout out to all my brothers! DeAaron, Treville, Brandon & Jordan! I love yall!
