Meet Tallia Scott | CEO of a Natural Business

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tallia Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tallia, what do you want your legacy to be?
As I was growing up, I always imagined who or what I wanted to be. No matter who or what I ended up being or doing. I knew that my work ethic was always the center of my focus. Rather I was a black business owner or a sales associate, everyone always knew I was a hard worker. I don’t only want to be remembered as a hard worker, but I want everyone to know that I did work hard for my passions and my purpose. I would hope people remember me exactly as who I am. An individual who is loving, caring, and most importantly someone who is understanding. Running a natural care business requires that of me, because these are the qualities that go into my products. I know what it’s like to not have someone listen to your issues or to ignore your problems, because I’ve been on the receiving end. This is what birthed my business and led me down a path of healing holistically. My personal experiences are what really defines my purpose and my legacy. My legacy is to heal, listen to others, and provide them with a natural solution.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
First, I would like to say I am very grateful and excited for this opportunity. It indeed allows me to feel I have every right to be proud of myself for pushing myself into my purpose. When I reflect on the accident that started my life changing experience, I finally realize how powerful my strength is. The journey was far from easy yet very worth it. No matter how hard it was I made sure to keep going. There’s this saying to “look forward to better days”. So, each day I knew it had to be a lifetime of those, after all the mishaps I’ve encountered. Transitioning my mind, body, and soul from being programmed by all the chemicals in the medicines I was being prescribed to finding natural remedies and alternatives was very conflicting. We often fear switching up our routine way of living because we find comfort and security by living one way. I turned my biggest challenge into a testimony to let anyone know life gets better no matter your situation. The least we owe ourselves is to give ourselves the life we deserve because truly only we know our worth. My business is to offer products where I can be creative. In turn, the individuals purchasing my products can reciprocate the healing aspect of them when they use my creations.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Me and my best friend are very similar to each other in so many ways blood literally couldn’t make us any thicker. With that being said, we both have a bit of a sweet tooth. Most of the week would definitely be spent catching up on the couch and ordering takeout from TGI Friday’s after finishing a movie then heading to Ninety’s for some of the best ice cream in Charlotte. Our last day would be spent uptown and I would take her to try this new cereal bar uptown called “Day and Night” cereal bar. We could get our sweets to-go and walk around the city talking about life and reminiscing on the fun times we’ve had before.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Nautica Lowe deserves big credit, she has been here with me through everything prior to starting my business and while starting it. Just by me taking a leap of faith out of what I went through. She has stepped into finding her own passion in making her own line of Natural products. These products are known to be helpful to smokers lung, natural cough syrup and even teas to help heal internally.
