Meet Tallia Deljou: Transformational Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tallia Deljou and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tallia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
One of my core beliefs as a coach is that success depends fully on your relationship to yourself, and the greatest measure of success is the person you become. That’s step one. Step two is the quality of the relationships you build with your clients/audience/community. For some context, I work with people who struggle with meaning and purpose in their work and want the clarity, confidence and courage to share their gifts with the world. Together, we break through limiting beliefs around what is possible, redefining success in a way that excites and fulfills them. What separates me from other coaches is my strength-based approach and background in positive psychology, along with training in MBSR and deep transformational coaching. My highest priority is the quality of the relationship I build with my clients – one that is rooted in depth, authenticity, and heart. Because of this, my clients feel safe to step forth and be seen fully, developing a strong sense of purpose and place in the world. All of that to say, relationships are key – first with yourself, and then with others.

What should our readers know about your business?
After 8 years in my coaching business, I am most proud of the transformations and results I’ve supported my clients in achieving. Most people come to me feeling stuck, seeking direction and purpose, asking themselves “What’s next?” The truth is always in how much we hold ourselves back from the things we want most, so I get the most excited when I help my clients uncover their blocks and start to see what else could be possible for them, whether that’s doubling their salary, pivoting to a new industry, or forging their own path to work for themselves. What I want the world to know about me and my story is that if it’s possible for me to make a living by living my purpose and doing what I love, it’s possible for you too.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our itinerary would consist of a walk along the Chattahoochee river, a yoga class at my neighborhood studio (Peachtree Yoga), lunch at Upbeet, dinner at Rumi’s kitchen, a visit to my parent’s pool and dad’s art gallery in West Midtown called Deljou Art Group. And of course a coffee stop at Chattahoochee Coffee Company along the river.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family for their continuing support, belief in my vision, and constant celebration of my work. How many books can I list off, haha! I credit my growth to a handful of instrumental books, all of which we read together in my personal development community with folks from all around the world. A few personal favorites are How to Win Friends & Influence People, The Gifts of Imperfection, The Crossroads of Should & Must, and Untamed of course.
