We had the good fortune of connecting with Takeisha Hardaway and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m very proud of myself and I set goals and work at them and not giving up also continuing to love what I do of being creative and building my brand as I move along. It wasn’t easy I had to overcome a few obstacles by standing back and taking look at myself and to check out to see of what areas needed to improve or work on. Then the lessons that I learned along the way are that be happy with myself and I’m an unique person and I’m capable of doing anything once I put my mind to it. I want the world to know about my brand is that I’m an artists and I love what I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The most best spot areas that are worth visiting I would take them to Orlando, Florida because you have the fun rides and parks to venture out to. Then one of the great restaurant to eat, drink, and visit are the California Style Pizza Kitchen, this restaurant has the best pizza. The most exciting places to check out are the Lenox mall and the Perimeter mall here in Atlanta, Georgia and the people are very nice and pleasant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes I want to dedicate my shout out to my mother and father because they were very supportive of my goals and I really want to thank them for showing me the ropes of how life can be. Also, they taught me so much and they show me that I can be anything that I want to be and I can do anything if I put my mind to it in which helped me stay focus and reach my goals and become successful. My artists on the Funktasy record label deserve credit and recognition very amazing artists to work with.
