Hi Tajzhané, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting your own business can be tough especially as a creative.For me I always related to a formula in which I refer to as the 3 P’s.The first P being Purpose,the second being Planning,& last P representing Persistence.These 3 P’s are both a game changer & eye opening.It gave me a sense of direction in terms of how you should take off and most importantly your “why” for starting this business overall.I always tell people to build your own brand.Network of course & never stop soaking up knowledge but also cater to your own table as well in the process.Be optimistic have some fight in you.Be strategic & think logically.Every piece to your puzzle should have meaning & ultimately increase the value of your business as a whole.”Knowledge is power & they hate that”.

We Are Revered – The name was inspired by my favorite cousin Maxo.

The meaning behind the brand speaks loud for itself.It is to be authentic & true to yourself no matter the world’s personal opinion & we are revered (Admired) because of this.Our stories target millennials & aspiring creatives.Each and every story presents a life gem that can impact one in a positive way.I use a specific lighting scheme to gravitate our audience & to ensure they feel emotions & can relate in some type of way through our actors based on my directing style.As our brand continues to grow we hope to impact the world with the finer things in life.It is our mission.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
With being from New York City there is so much to choose from.I would definitely give a great grand tour with our wide huge variety of places to go.Our first stop would be my favorite Italian restaurant “Queen” located on Court street in Brooklyn New York.Then we would head to Williamsburg for a couple of drinks and links you know Good Vibes only.Pizza is a must we would grab a slice in Brooklyn for lunch & Carribean for dinner at my favorite spot “Suede”.Your guaranteed to gain a good 5 pounds hanging with me out in NYC.Summertime is always the best.With being a former athlete you know we have to go show love in the city.West 4th Street,Gersh Park,Rucker Park,Dyckman, & rose classic to name a few.42nd street or soho for our shopping spree & the rest is history.Pure culture and great vibes Lol.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely, first and foremost I want to thank the man above ! God has a way of placing you right where you need to be his timing is never off. I want to give a shoutout to Malik Rashadd a mentor and big brother of mine.He definitely has been a huge support and has lead me to a variety of different impactful opportunities.I also want to give a shout to Caleb Davis the big name behind the amazing series “Tough Love”.I was able to learn so much about both the production and business side of things while working with Davis I’m extremely thankful.Lastly I want to give a shoutout to Ray Jones my film partner in crime.Jones has been a big piece & huge supporter of everything from the start & has definitely taught me so much both on and off the camera in terms of branding marketing & having confidence in your work ! When I first started pursuing this journey these 3 individuals kept me going.SHOUTOUT TO YOU <3
