We had the good fortune of connecting with Taheerah Hansen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taheerah, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Balance is important because balance is healthy. Balance to me says that all parts of our lives are working together in harmony. My work-life balance changes depending on what needs more my attention at that time. There are times where I would find myself working more, and then working less to focus on other areas of my life. Either way I enjoy knowing that life has an amazing way of working itself out.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My art is a reflection of who I am as a creative. I appreciate music, as well as textures and colors. I consider myself well-rounded so I am capable of expressing my creativity in many ways. I am set apart from others because of how God designed me. No two people are the same, so we all are set apart in our own way. I am where I am because of God’s favor over my life. The people he has allowed me to encounter has been a major blessing to me. They encourage me to stay consistent and keep my head in the game when I want to walk away. In those trying times I learned to trust the process and trust God’s divine timing. My brand is genuine, and I pride myself in helping others express themselves creatively, bringing out the best of who they are from the inside out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Lol! Man we going straight to the studio. We would be cooking up some beats and freestyling and coming up with funny songs on the spot. I would take them to Our Bar ATL on Edgewood they always have dope creative events and their selection of DJs fire. I have to take them to Trition Yards in East Point, GA for the dope food truck vibes. Good energy all the time. We definitely hitting Beltline for a nice stroll to chat and catch up enjoy the scene and eat good lol. Some Karaoke would be dope; and prolly to other studios to vibe and create music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Ah yes, I would love to shout my people out. I have some of the most supportive and sincere people in my corner. It is those people who make this journey worth it. Shoutout to Musician Tailors, who serve as mentors that are continuously guiding me along my path on becoming a successful music producer. Shoutout to BNDWTH Studios for allowing me to grow my skills as a creative. Also my family and close friends who are cheering me on and showing me love everyday.
