We had the good fortune of connecting with Tadria Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tadria, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor to my success isn’t just one thing. It’s a few things that work hand in hand and those things are my spirituality …knowing my source , work ethic , and authenticity on staying true to who I am personally and what my brand represents . These things are my foundation .

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m the owner/visionary of JÜ-EL The Brand a wardrobe company specializing in Styling and Creative Direction Within the company I launched JÜ-ELs Kids Fashion Camp teaching children the fundamentals of Fashion Design , Marketing and Entrepreneurship

My professional journey I’m still on however I got to this space I am currently with hard work , vision , and networking .

Nothing in life I would say is easy especially building a brand . Challenges you can’t run from . Somethings I’m challenged with include staying with the times , technical advances of social media , financial challenges and the challenge of me being a one woman show wearing currently all hats within my business .

Lessons Ive learned are , networking is key , everyone won’t except what you offer and that’s ok .

I want the world to know that my inspiration of my brand came from my grandmother from her fashion but most importantly her personality . My brand is a personality brand that puts emphasis on quality and customer service .

I started with nothing just my dads clothes and my personal collection . If I can do it so can you

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So I’m very into relaxation and great vibes at this point in life . Massages , poolside etc.

I also like going on adventures in the city having some kid like fun is more my speed . And really trying places I never been had been what I look forward to .

I’m always down to eat and try New foods and restaurants but my go tos are Ra sushi , I love the St Regis rooftop with a nice cigar and for my seafood lovers That like to get their hands dirty juicy crab is the one !

Atlanta is pretty crowded so the older I get I enjoy going to spots during the day where the people aren’t their lol

Nature is a thing for me if the weather is decent so a nice charcuterie on the park with wine and food would be a thing .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
