We had the good fortune of connecting with T Mccrae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi T, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I never wanted to do anything more than sing songs that made people feel good

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of the music I’ve released in the last 5 years, records like Let It Go, Every Little Thing I Do, or Pulling You Closer which is the first time collaborating with a South African producer and the first time recording music in the genre of Amapiano. Also proud of the strides I’m making in independent film with the release of the first feature film I was granted a role in, “Watching Amber” which is a horror thriller, produced by writer and director Omar Rogers of Rogers Film Works.. and lastly extremely proud of the comedy series pilot I shot last summer 2023 titled “Booked” created written and produced by Maiya Cere.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d have to say “Rock Steady” classy spot, good music and food, beautiful ambience another one would be Copeland’s New Orleans, the food is banging, very family friendly.. another would be “The Chair” carefree fun vibe, good music , good food, video games, photo booths etc.. great vibe..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
