We had the good fortune of connecting with SylvieBaby and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SylvieBaby, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking to achieve a goal requires extreme courage because your are facing uncertainty head on. Taking risks eliminates the possibility of looking back and asking yourself the “what if?” Regardless of the outcome you will always come out with lessons learned, more knowledge and even more courage to try again if you fail or even gain confidence to take on more goals when you succeed.. When it comes to my life I was never known to be a risk taker, it wasn’t until my passion for nail artistry grew stronger and stronger every day when I decided to “Step Out” and take all necessary risks to become an entrepreneur and start “SylvieBaby LLC” “I will never look back I will only look forward because Success is right in front of me!”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I pour my heart and soul into every set of nails that I create. I have a passion for pretty color combinations, hand painted abstract art , encapsulated designs and Swarovski Crystal placement. What makes me most proud of myself is that I took a risk in leaving my job to start my nail business and although it hasn’t been easy, it has been so worth it. I overcome challenges daily. I deal with self doubt, frustration and even regret at times and I overcome all negativity with prayer and family support. I’ve learned the journey will not always be easy but it’s all worth it when you are working towards your own dream and vision. I want the world to know that what I provide is not just a gorgeous set of nails, I provide a sense of escape of your daily stresses through pampering. I want every person that sits with me to know it’s perfectly ok to normalize luxury in our lives. You deserve to feel beautiful inside and out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would absolutely stop by a few of my favs Triton Yards food truck park for lunch and henny peach tea. Jimmyz Kitchen for amazing dinner and drinks. I would eventually head to take a few nice walks down Silver Comet Trail. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My entire family, close friends and every single person that has sat in my chair and to all those who patronize my business from other states on a regular basis. We laugh, we cry and we encourage each other daily. I cherish all these bonds and appreciate their support.
