We had the good fortune of connecting with Supreme Nova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Supreme, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define success as living a life aligned with your values, passions, and purpose. It’s not a fixed destination but a journey where you’re constantly growing, learning, and finding fulfillment.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art as a barber is rooted in the passion for creating not just great haircuts, but meaningful experiences for my clients. What sets me apart is my dedication to both the craft and the service I provide. I’m not just focused on the technical side, like delivering clean fades or sharp line-ups, but also on building a connection with each client who sits in my chair. I believe that being a great barber is as much about people as it is about the skill, and that’s what keeps me driven every day.

Another aspect that sets me apart is my love for color work, which I was introduced to early in my career. Exploring hair color as an artistic medium has allowed me to expand my creativity and offer my clients something unique. Combining traditional barbering techniques with modern trends like color has become a signature of my style.

Getting to where I am today professionally hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has been an opportunity to grow. In barber school, I met incredible mentors, like @natemotivates, who taught me not only technical skills but also how to stay motivated and push forward even when things felt tough. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency, humility, and the willingness to learn are the keys to success.

Looking ahead, my goal is to become a barber instructor and share what I’ve learned with others. I want to inspire and guide the next generation of barbers, just like my mentors did for me. My brand and story are built on the idea that barbering is more than a job; it’s an art form, a service, and a way to make an impact on people’s lives.

I want the world to know that through my craft and my journey, I aim to leave a legacy of creativity, service, and mentorship. My story is about turning passion into purpose and using it to elevate not only myself but everyone I encounter.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and fun. We’d start with iconic spots like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Piedmont Park for a taste of the city’s history and beauty. We’d explore the BeltLine, enjoy street art at the Krog Street Tunnel, and visit landmarks like the Georgia Aquarium and Stone Mountain Park. For food, we’d hit classic Southern spots like Mary Mac’s Tea Room, Paschal’s, and The Varsity, while also diving into Atlanta’s international food scene on Buford Highway. Evenings would be filled with rooftop drinks at Ponce City Market, live music at The Tabernacle, and exploring nightlife at The Battery Atlanta. The week would be a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and connection to Atlanta’s unique energy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a big shoutout to my barber mentor, @natemotivates on Instagram. He’s part of the Tomb45 team, and I first met him during barber school. He’s had a huge impact on my journey ever since, not just as a barber but as a professional. I also want to recognize Chris the Barber and my barber instructor Bam for their guidance and support. Each of them has played an essential role in shaping my skills and mindset, and I’m incredibly grateful for their influence.
