We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Shelton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephen, why did you pursue a creative career?
Creativity has been in my DNA, I would love to believe since conception. I’ve always been that kid that got lost in imagination, in my own time and the wrong times. Music for me has always been therapeutic. This creative career path gives me a opportunity to not just express my artistic peculiarities but connect and implement my musical talent with music lovers globally.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
To find your purpose and trust your intuition is pretty darn hard at times. I’ve never shied away from a firm challenge and a fulfilling risk, especially when dealing with music. A place like Atlanta, saturated with creativity and Entrepreneurs takes a different type of focus and drive. In my experiences, I’ve learned to trust the process and remove self doubt.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Bar taco, slutty vegan and Mr. everything would be the 3 eateries in rotation. Aside from the Trap museum (with photo opps), a little stroll on the belt line in midtown straight to the skate park and graffiti walls (Snapchat of course). Civil rights museum cap off, dinner at Rays on the river, drinks at The pig and the pearl in Atlantic station and ending with Main event Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This shout out is dedicated to pass and present experiences, lessons and growth.
