We had the good fortune of connecting with Steiga Hewitt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steiga, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a deliberate decision driven by a desire for independence and flexibility. I knew early on that I didn’t want to work for someone else, feeling constrained by their rules and limitations. By venturing into entrepreneurship, I gained the freedom to set my own schedule and priorities, allowing me to strike a balance between pursuing my passion and being present for my family. This journey has been about creating a life on my own terms, where I can thrive professionally while cherishing precious moments with my loved ones.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey as an esthetician has been an organic evolution, sparked by the challenges of the pandemic and fueled by the unwavering support of friends and family seeking beauty advice. This prompted a deep dive into skincare, igniting a quest for knowledge to provide informed guidance.

What sets me apart is my deeply personal connection to my work. Having grappled with self-worth and confidence myself, I understand firsthand the transformative power of beauty services. My joy comes from helping women rediscover their confidence and inner beauty.

Creating an intimate sanctuary where clients can escape life’s stresses and emerge refreshed is my passion. Being a one-woman show in my business comes with its challenges, but each hurdle becomes a stepping stone for growth.

I’ve learned the importance of self-care, especially for women who often prioritize others over themselves. My business is more than just a service—it’s a haven where self-love and rejuvenation take center stage.

As a female entrepreneur, overcoming challenges isn’t just about resilience—it’s about creating a space where others can find strength, beauty, and a renewed sense of self. My story is one of empowerment, and I hope to inspire others to embrace their own journey towards self-love and confidence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I recently moved to the state of NJ so I’m still exploring but a couple of place I have great things about and would like to visit are 1. Beneduce Vineyards it has fun year-round events such as live music and food trucks on Saturdays. 2. Cape May County Park & Zoo, it houses more than 550 different animals and is free to the public. There are also awesome playgrounds for kids of all ages just outside the entrance. 3. American Dream Mall. it is sort of a vacation one stop spot, form shopping to theme parks and various other fun activities. 4. Long Beach Island, it is said to have really beautify views of the Atlantic Ocean coastline and you can enjoy water sports, great restaurant and a laid-back lifestyle.
