Meet Stacey Ruth: Branding Consultant and Leadership Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Ruth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacey, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I am a champion of risk for myself and others. I am not referring to the sort of risk that endangers your livelihood or relationships, but the sort of risk that pushes past comfort zones which is the only place real personal growth occurs. I believe this is the key trait of successful individuals – especially entrepreneurs. Whether risk is about doing a fire walk, which I did, and found to be a transformational experience, or about starting a new company, which I have done three times now, risk demands that I be willing to believe success is possible and that I have what it takes to achieve it. More importantly, as a calculated risk-taker, I am also willing to learn from my mistakes instead of judging myself as a failure.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a certified transformational Leadership Coach, a marketer, minister, speaker and author, who helps women leaders be unstoppable – exactly as we are all meant to be. I have founded 2 multimillion-dollar agencies, been named top 50 entrepreneurs in Atlanta under 50, and twice awarded Top 100 It agencies. I did it all despite deep recessions, the fallout of 9-11, and personal challenges of divorce and rebuilding my life. These difficulties, and my own search for personal meaning, as well as working with other women on the same path, has taught me the critical importance of ongoing individual transformation for our success and fulfillment – whether in business or life in general. I am on FIRE to help myself and others grow boldly. I help countless women leaders understand how to activate their intuition for faster and more accurate decisions, discover their purpose and break through limiting beliefs. Our natural state is one of power, passion and freedom. It is possible to create powerful shifts in our lives when we activate the universal 12-stage process required, tapping into the inner wisdom we all possess. My new book, Own Your Own Shift, as well as my workbooks on Finding Your Purpose, A Life Action Plan and Fighting Your Fears are all designed to support the personal transformation process I have been through, and continues to shape my evolution.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a nature girl. Atlanta has amazing, often hidden hiking gems. Living in Roswell, on the Chattahoochee River, I would take visitors to the hiking trails by The Roswell Mill, or Columns Drive, among others, with a picnic on the banks of the river. Dinner at Ray’s On The River, with its beautiful gardens, and a free concert or some sublime jazz at the Velvet Note in Alpharetta would make the evening perfection.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to Lorri Palko, of Love, Money Purpose. She has been a wildly successful CEO of major organizations, and, like myself, is reinventing herself as a consultant and supporter of other leaders, sharing both the practical tools of leadership and business alongside the spiritual principles underlying everything we do. She and I have been supporting each other’s journeys and it establishes accountability and motivation between like-minded peers.
