Meet Slim KuttaR | Multi Platinum Hip Hop Artist and Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Slim KuttaR and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Slim, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Exhibiting patiences, and showing consistency. I’ve learned to experience nothing that’s really sustainable and locative comes overnight so you have to remain patient with your eyes on the prize and every day do something towards that goal. Stay consistent no matter what.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
To kick off my 2024 campaign, I’m is set to release to his latest EP, “Eviction Notice”. This variety pack will showcase my lyrical prowess with my unorthodox flow and my song writing genius. Another project you can repeat from start to finish!
Which all of my projects are available for downloads and streaming on all major platforms.
Aside from being a multiplatinum artist and songwriter I’m venturing into tv and film as an actor and executive producer.
I’m blessed to be able to tagalong on an upcoming major tour.
Like I always revert back to just staying patient and consistent doors will open. All it takes is one yes to change your life forever.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is New Orleans, the food and fun capital of the world. So no matter where you go in the city you can’t go wrong.
And you don’t have to be in the CBD to get a five star dining/entertainment experience like for example Thai Nola Restaurant in New Orleans East.
So every day will be in a fun adventure!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my management team, Aubrey Francis, Sr. and Victor Stelly, Jr. (shout to Petey what it do brother) because with them I don’t have to worry about anything business related which allows me to focus on my craft, and the quality of the my work.
Lil Vic and J Maximillion a.k.a Skinny on the Track for challenging me from the beginning to push the envelope when I’m in the studio.
My guy MixByRich for all his tutelage and priceless input not only on the music but just overall career outlook. My publishing administrator Deborah Evans (Joseph Furnari) of Della Music Publishing.
The homie Alex Yake who I met through my brothers Baron Davis, a.k.a., Bart Oatmeal, and Term, a.k.a. Da Bix God (shout out to my brother Capito B), every since we’ve collaborated on the LA 2 LA EP
he’s always been on a call for me whenever I needed him for last-minute tweaks and engineering needs for my last three EP’s Hustlers Pack, DM‘s and Text Messages, and Audience. As well as the latest one Eviction Notice EP. Which all projects are available for downloads and streaming on all major platforms.
I won’t be anywhere without God, my fans (any who’s ever listened to my music), my entire family (Charisma you already know) and friends. My Undisputed Hustlers comrades A-Dub, Wayne, Les, Nicole, Christie, and Kim.
And the reason why I rap because of my idol and blood big brother, Jonathan Lamar Williams Sr., a.k.a. Red who I lost one month ago. Kiss mama for me love you’ll infinity!
