We had the good fortune of connecting with SiSi Hinley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SiSi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk-taking is actually a considerable aspect of my career and life. “You have to roll the dice to play” is a saying I keep in mind while elevating my career. The times I consider risk-taking the most are when I’m
approached with situations that may benefit or impair my life. If I knew for a fact, or it at least had a
higher chance of a negative result, I wouldn’t choose to take the risk. But if there is a chance, I may
succeed at taking the risk; I’m in because even if the bet fails, it teaches me a lesson that I need to move
forward.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I absolutely love what I do. Modeling has always been my purpose and a way I could express myself without using words; it’s literally my art. Shortly after, I discovered I loved acting just as much. What I
know that may set me apart from others is my resiliency. No matter what I’m faced with or the level of
adversity, I always find a way to pick myself up again and stay on course. And that is the leading practice
on how I can do what I love today and continuously grow in it. And during this journey, I’m most excited
about the experiences and people I encounter. Although there are great moments, you must accept the
lows as well; nothing is easy. But the lows teach me to enjoy the highs. I want anyone to know to
do what makes you happy no matter how others may feel; this is the most important lesson I’ve learned.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I was going with friends and had to choose a spot for us to go to, it would probably just be food places. Although I’m small, I love to eat. Any good seafood place is a go-to for me. Regarding activities, I would
like to do things most people don’t do, which does not mean that it can’t be simple, just as long as it’s
chill, fun, or both and kinda different.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If I had to shout out anyone, it would be God, myself and my family. Especially Jada Samone who I admire so much and love! She’s one person I know I can count on and vice versa. She also introduced me to being featured here!
