We had the good fortune of connecting with Sincere Hunte and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sincere, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Finding balance isn’t a easy task. I used to go through the motions of stressing over it, making lists, setting reminders, stuff like that but now, honestly, I have been blessed with the ability to incorporate what I have to do in everyday life. Working as I’m playing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’d consider my art to be a reminder of my roots, sample heavy, feel-good raps. for everybody that inspires thought, that’s all I really want to do, inspire. I like to think no idea is completely original, as far as what sets me a part, I think it’s my upbringing, it’s what makes all of us unique in our own way, it reflects in everyone’s art, I’m really proud of my progress, I came a long way from recording on a small snowball mic in a closet with my friends, same process the equipment and stakes got better. I don’t think anything worth it in life will ever come easy, you attract things, but all in all there is a challenge and lesson in any and everything, knowing that makes me excited for the future and what it has in store for us.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we were back home in Huntsville, off top I would take them to Island Jerk that’s my comfort food, in my opinion, the best food in the city. We would visit Mid-City, go to the camp, get some drinks, introduce them to my friends out there, swing by Goody Vault & Dusty Ltd. for some shopping and then end the day at the lake out in Triana, play some basketball maybe throw some food on the grill, things to make them at home away from home.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to the dadabase, Greg Bussie,Outofservice & my mom for always keeping me on point. They are my biggest inspirations.
